Pending status

How long does a question remain pending? For instance, a patron emailed about a book. The librarian emailed back asking which library she uses. The patron still hasn't replied over 48 hours later. Do I need to go through and clear my pending tickets every so often? Thanks! :-) Kira

Answer

It will remain pending until the librarian changes the status. If you close the ticket and the patron responds, it will reopen the ticket and alert the patron.

    I also do not understand if there is an advantage to manually turning a LibChat into a ticket ---? If this is coming up in a training, all good. I will be there.
