Circulation Policy

Check out period is 3 weeks. Must have either a student ID, Driver’s License or other government issued photo ID to check out books. Can renew online, in person, or over phone. No fines, but holds will be placed on record after 30 days overdue. To renew online, click on MyAccount link from the catalog page.

Reserves URL and Policy

Can search reserves through catalog. We do have a limited selection of textbooks on reserve for in library use only. Search Course Reserves

ILL URL and Policy

Students can request books from other community colleges through the catalog, using their Student ID as Borrower ID. Pin is the last 4 digits of their student ID. Students can request materials location at Florida's university libraries through the UBorrow program by using the statewide union catalog of library materials. Polk State library login is required.

Special Features

Writing Center tutor located in Lakeland campus library or TLCC at Winter Haven. PSC students only please and no proof reading provided.

Access to Electronic Resources

Students login using their PSC student ID as the Borrower ID and the last four digits of their student ID as the password. Login from catalog page by clicking databases links at the top of the page.

Wireless Policy

Wireless internet available. No on-site tech support.

Printing Policy

Printing/Photocopying is 10 cents for B&W and 50 cents for color. Patrons must purchase a copy card for $1.00 that comes with 50 cents worth of printing. The card can be reloaded with cash (only bills). The library does not make change.

Hours

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
The library is closed when classes are not in session. Summer hours and holiday hours may differ. Please call for details.
